Weslo Cadence G 5.9 Treadmill – Is It Worth The Money?
Hello once again, here is the best home gym equipment for another review.Even though the Weslo Cadence G 5.9 Treadmill was released 2 years ago is still considered one of most bang for your buck treadmills out there.
At an affordable price of under $300 it provides a 2.25 hp motor, comfortable compact platform, and even 6 preset programs that makes it very appealing for everyone that desires a treadmill. The real question is, is it worth it as there seems to be some negative comments.
My Honest Opinion
I don’t feel that the Weslo Cadence G 5.9 is that good of a treadmill as in my eyes is a bit below par. It does not have the most durable material as I even had a friend that said after the first time he used it the screen stopped working and stayed like this even after a reset. Another thing I didn’t like was how bad the customer service was for Weslo.
They would put you on hold for a good 45 minutes and then just hang up on you out of nowhere which seemed very disrespectful.
The motor is not that strong specially for a decent size treadmill as it should have more horse power than a low 2.25 hp.
I’m glad my friend told me about this because one might buy this treadmill just to have it but with that horrible customer service I would go another route.
Despite these negatives there is countless people that say they loved and haven’t had a real issue with this treadmill. Which got me thinking maybe when they were constructed not all were done the same as this is a big possibility. This tends to happen a lot but if it was up to me I would not recommend it.
You can always try out and return it if you don’t like it but if you can go another direction then I certainly would. It’s better to pay a little extra to have a treadmill that will actually last.
Even for the most beginners out there I will stay away from this treadmill as one it does not offer much speed besides a little faster than walking speed. It comes back to my main point that it does not have enough power to really be useful. The other point that you should understand is that you get what you pay for and realistically a $300 dollar treadmill is not going to be too good.
